Qatar Executive, the business jet subsidiary of Qatar Airways, announced the release of its new Gulfstream G650ER business jet at the Bahrain International Air show 2016, touting it as the world’s fastest and largest private business jet. Qatar Executive’s new private business jet is designed to be “an office in the sky” that can cross long distances without stopping, traveling from the Middle East to North America — or from Asia to Africa — on a single tank of fuel. Qatar Executive was launched in 2009 to provide corporate jet options. Qatar Executive has a fleet of 10 specialized corporate jets.
Early 2016 Qatar Executive’s new business jet was inaugurated by Minister of Transportation H E Jassim Seif Ahmed Al Sulaiti and Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, Akbar Al Baker. Qatar Airways CEO Akbar Al Baker said: “We are delighted to reveal the Gulfstream G650ER here at the Bahrain International Airshow. It is with enormous pride that we welcome the industry’s most advanced business jet into our fleet. We look forward to offering our valued and discerning customers the opportunity to experience this new-generation aircraft, the next time they fly with Qatar Executive.”
Gulfstream G650ER is the first new jet to be delivered in an order of 30 that will expand the corporate fleet by 75 percent. Qatar Airways officials said the Qatar Executive Gulfstream G650ER corporate jet is superior for its range, comfort, large windows, low noise levels, carrying capacity and cabin technology, which includes satellite communication, internet access and local phone access.
The new corporate jet also comes with highly customizable cabin controls for passenger comfort. The 13 passenger seats fold down into beds, and the air in the cabin is refreshed every two minutes. As the world’s largest and fastest civilian aircraft, the Gulfstream G650ER is one of the most sought-after business jets thanks to its phenomenal range, industry-leading cabin technology and unparalleled cabin comfort.
Qatar Executive G650ER corporate jet can fly non-stop from the Middle East to North America or from destinations in Asia to Africa – farther, faster than any other jet of its kind – and is perfectly suited for those whose travel needs include flying halfway around the globe.
Qatar Executive’s new corporate jet is available by private charter. Qatar Executive’s service portfolio also includes aircraft management, maintenance and a full range of Fixed Based operator (FBO) services. Qatar Executive has entered the FBO and maintenance service for Business Jets in March 2011. Bombardier recently appointed Qatar Executive as its Authorized Service Facility for Challenger and Global aircraft in the Middle East.
