The London Global Convention 2019 brought together panels of stellar speakers from across the globe. Organized by the Institute of Directors, India, at The Montcalm Marble Arch, London, from November 13-16, 2019, on ‘Corporate Governance & Sustainability’. The theme of this year’s Convention was ‘Board’s Opportunities and Challenges for Corporate Governance and Sustainability’.
As economies and corporations across the world grapple with changes in the global economic landscape, the aim of this Convention is to ensure and engage in deliberations on the effects of these changes across corporate boardrooms and consider the possible response.
The Convention seeks to help create an effective corporate governance and sustainability
framework for boardrooms, as a response to manage these changes, for longevity and
success, under the new world order. It will also provide an opportunity to network with global peers and professionals, in these fields.
The event honored Sir David Clementi, the Chairman of BBC as an IOD Distinguished fellow along with Shailesh Vera MP, Former Minister, Gov. of UK, Helen Brand OBE, Chief executive of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants,UK and Mrs Shallu Jindal, Chairperson of the JSPL Foundation and Director of Jindal Steel and Power Ltd. India.
The event also saw notable personalities and speakers including H.
